June 21, 2016 marked Go Skateboarding Day across the world. Miami, FL participated even in the pouring rain with the help of Adidas Skateboarding, Jay Ramps, Keen One, Skate Free, and Diamond Supply Co.
Skate Free and the Lot 11 Project received full feature in the Miami Herald!!
Once the concrete had cured the forms were pulled and we began giving the park its color scheme.
After All the Obstacles molds were created and welded we started the pour.
In order to create a skate space in Miami We here at skate free wanted to activate Lot 11 while we continue to raise money toward a complete skate plaza. With the help of Jason Ranft, Kevin Graver and Ben Horan we have designed modular obstacles for what will be Phase One.
We sent out a message to the community to lend a helping hand in getting lot 11 cleaned up and swept while we prepare to activate it for Phase One.
